The CZ behind CZ Invitations
I’m Carley Zuercher, where the “CZ” in our name came from. I have a creative heart that loves making new things and learning new things.
When I’m not at work, you can find me with a glass of wine binge watching Gilmore Girls or playing board games with my friends.
Since starting an invitation business we have been featured on several blogs and have been selected as a 2017 and 2018 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings, an award representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples on The Knot!
How We Started
In October of 2013, I got engaged. After months of looking for what I wanted for my invitations, I couldn’t find what I wanted, so my mom and I made them ourselves.
After I graduated with a business degree in entrepreneurship & getting married, my mom sent me an email one day that said, "Let's put your business degree and my graphic design experience together and start a business." (I still find it funny she emailed that to me, because we text and talk constantly)
I spent a couple of months looking at Etsy and figuring it all out. My mom and I opened our Etsy shop in February of 2015.
In July 2017, we moved from our cozy home office to an 810 sq/ft office space and launched this website. We’ve since added to our team, fleet of printers and offerings.

Our Process for Custom Print Orders
Ordering + Proofs
After the Deposit has been paid and the form has been filled out, we will begin working on your proofs. Ashlyn, our designer, will be in touch with proofs within 7 business days. In most cases, proofs will be sent to you in a day or two.
We do not limit the amount of proofs you receive on custom print orders. Like you, we want your invitations to be perfect, and sometimes that cannot be achieved in 3 rounds of proofs. We will work with you until you're happy with your invitations at no extra cost!
Printing + Assembly
Once final proofs have been approved, we get them printed! Each invitation is hand checked by at least one person before starting assembly to ensure the highest quality. Many items require cutting, such as medallions. Before assembly we measure, cut, and trim everything to ensure they are the accurate size.
During assembly we have anywhere from one to six people gluing each layer together. We offer a wide range of assembly options, from fully addressed and stuffed, to 100% DIY.
Packaging + Shipping
After assembly, they are counted (and re-counted) and stacked neatly for packaging. We take great care in packing each item, wrapping them in tissue and/or bubble wrap, and placed in a protective plastic box. You'll find your invitations and inserts organized and numbered to make sending out your invitations as easy as possible.
All orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx, generally which ever is quicker. All packages include tracking, and are insured.
